MDS 300 - Material Deposition System
The MDS 300 is an ultra high precision Materials Depostion System. It enables digital deposition of a wide range of fluids utilizing inkjet printhead technology. It can be utilized in both R&D and pilot line production applications. The MDS 300 is a flagship product in iTi’s Lab2FabSM family of industrial systems which support users from initial research to volume production.
The MDS 300 combines precision drop placement, system reliability, and maintainability in a lab-ready, enclosed printing environment. It provides extremely high accuracy printing for fine line detail and high resolution images. The MDS 300 allows the ultimate flexibility in printing capabilities. Users can input print resolution, print speed, printhead separation and curing processes. The system provides developers with a flexible and sophisticated platform for the development of jettable fluids, inkjet based production processes, and analysis of the interaction between fluids and solid or flexible, non-porous substrates.
iTi’s MDS 300 is a highly precise, materials deposition system for analyzing and printing UV inks, biological fluids, polymers and a wide range of printable electronic materials. It offers outstanding accuracy, with positional repeatability of ±500 nm and overall positional accuracy of ±3 μm over 300 mm with respect to the center of travel of the 350mm x 400mm (13.7" x 15.7") platen (with optional error mapping - manufacturer spec.).
