Inkjet Development Lab
iTi’s Inkjet Development Lab (IDL) is a world class research facility optimized for the needs of industrial inkjet application developers. It contains over $600,000 of specialized inkjet lab equipment including iTi’s XY Materials Deposition System, Inkjet Web Press and Drop Watcher, and supports printheads from vendors including Dimatix, Trident and Xaar.
The IDL is a cost effective solution that provides valuable information about the feasibility of any industrial inkjet project early in the development cycle. It dramatically shortens research cycle time and significantly reduces the risk and cost of initial feasibility studies. The IDL enables researchers to test the jettability of inks and other industrial fluids, tune fluid formulations for selected printheads, test ink to substrate compatibility, and identify process requirements prior to investing in expensive, specialized capital equipment.
It is ideal for companies exploring inkjet’s potential for nanoparticle fluids, printable electronics, OLED and PLED displays, touch panels, organic electronics, biomedical and other applications that benefit from the digital control and precise fluid metering offered by inkjet technology.
